*Detroit Pistons Game* As a special thank you for your participation in Kids Heart Challenge, the American Heart Association is inviting Waldron Elementary School families to celebrate with Detroit Pistons on Friday, April 11th at 7PM as they take on the Milwaukee Bucks! -All students will receive a complimentary ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket. -All students will have the opportunity to take a free throw shot on-court post-game. -15 students will be chosen at random to participate as Anthem Buddies on court! Tickets can be purchased at www.pistons.com/aha.

**Family Literacy Night** Thursday, February 27th from 6-7pm is Family Literacy Night. During this time the Book Fair will be open for students and parents to shop.

Good afternoon from the KITCHEN CREW! We wanted to reach out & let everyone know, unfortunately, we have been dealing with reports of spoiled milk being served. Today one of the representatives from Kusters Dairy stopped in to apologize for the issues we and other surrounding schools have been experiencing. Starting this Thursday (2/27/25) Kusters will now be delivering Bordens Milk. We also wanted to share a few pictures of some of the new items we have been and will be offering during lunch. *BOOK FAIR* The Book Fair will be open next week during school hours as well as during Family Literacy Night on Thursday from 6-7. Students will be bringing home a flyer that has a QR code for anyone that would like to set up an e-wallet instead of bringing in cash. Also, next week the elementary will also begin to collect coins to support our literacy program. The class that collects the most money by March 19th will get to throw water balloons at Mr. Ellison!!
