A great season for our boys comes to an end. Our boys finished 18-7 with our first district championship since 2009.

HELLO from the KITCHEN CREW!
Our department received a FRESH FRUIT & VEGETABLE grant to offer fresh fruits & vegetables to our K-5 students. The goal of the grant is not only to offer a healthy snack to our students, but also to introduce different types of fruits or vegetables. Last Friday, 2/28/25, the students were given KUMQUATS to try. Here are a few pictures of a few reactions.
For the record, the majority of the students never heard of a KUMQUAT, AND surprisingly enough, more kids than we expected, enjoyed them.

As a special thank you for your participation in Kids Heart Challenge, the American Heart Association is inviting Waldron Elementary School families to celebrate with Detroit Pistons on Friday, April 11th at 7PM as they take on the Milwaukee Bucks!
-All students will receive a complimentary ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket.
-All students will have the opportunity to take a free throw shot on-court post-game.
-15 students will be chosen at random to participate as Anthem Buddies on court!
