**STEM & TUTORING**
Boys and girls STEM will meet this Wednesday, March 20th, from 3-4pm.
There will not be after school tutoring this Thursday, March 21st, due to Family Reading Night.
HELLO FROM THE CAFETERIA & HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY (yesterday)
We celebrated St. Patrick's Day today with, our McSpartan wrap, Leprechaun style! A spinach wrap with chicken tenders, shredded lettuce & cheese inside, baked sour cream & onion chips, sliced green peppers, a pickle spear, leprechaun pears & lime sherbet. As usual, we love to decorate for the season!!!
Our own, Jenn Fether, has been awarded the annual Outstanding Counselor award by our Early Middle College partner, Kellogg Community College! It is exciting news that others are recognizing the passion that Jenn has for helping the students to be successful before and after graduation. Well deserved! Congratulations Jenn. Spartan Proud!
*P/T CONFERENCES*
Tomorrow is parent - teacher conferences from 4 pm - 7 pm. It is also a half day. Mr. Roberts will be available for conferences from 3 pm - 6 pm with his last conference at 5:45 pm.
*FFA UPGRADE*
At a recent Ag Council meeting, Mrs. Fether was asked what she would like for her FFA chapter if provided money. She shared she would like an aquaponic system, Chromebook devices, and some other items. Guess what? MI State Aid Sec 61 allocated funds to Eaton RESA, whom graciously donated $48,000 to Waldron FFA! No applying for the grant, no paperwork. Simply asked for upgrade ideas. Our FFA is among hundreds of others in the state to receive this money! Congratulations to Ma Fether and the Waldron FFA!!!!
**PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES**
Thursday, March 14th is a half day for students, dismissal- 11:30am. Parent teacher conferences are from 4-7pm in the Media Center.
Friday, March 15th is also a half day, dismissal- 11:30am.
**4TH GRADE PARENTS**

SPECIAL VISIT FROM SENATOR BELLINO. Monday (3/11) Senator Bellino will be here to read to our kids for "March is reading Month". He will read to K-2 from 10-10:18 and then grades 3-5 from 10:20-10:40. Each student will receive a bookmark. This is a wonderful opportunity for our little school!
**TUTORING**
There will be no tutoring next Thursday, March 14th due to it being a half day of school.

Dr. Seuss Birthday!!!
On Friday, 3/1/24, the cafeteria celebrated Dr. Seuss with GREEN EGGS & HAM for breakfast. All the students loved the breakfast. Our staff dressed up, decorated & of course, dyed the eggs green...LOL
