HEARTFELT message from the cafeteria :
The ladies in the kitchen work very hard everyday to serve healthy, yet delicious choices to all our students. At times it can be challenging, but they do all they can to make sure our Spartan students enjoy lunch, have options & maybe even try something they might not get the opportunity to experience. Last week we received a letter one our students wrote as an assignment. It really made the kitchen staff feel appreciated, so we thought we should share it with our Spartans families:)

The Youth Advisory Council of the Hillsdale County Comm. Foundation is seeking your help. They are conducting a survey to assess the needs of the youth in our county. This survey plays a crucial role in informing their grant award decisions to schools and non-profit organizations in the area.
Attached you will find a link to the latest survey devolved by Y.O.U.T.H. Our dedicated students on the council are actively working to collect responses from a diverse group of youth in Hillsdale County, particularly targeting 8th-12th grade classrooms. Y.O.U.T.H. has set a goal to gain deeper insights into the needs of youth in Hillsdale County, allowing us to tailor our efforts more effectively. To achieve this, we are seeking your permission to conduct the survey among students in grades 8th-12th by April 17, 2024. The survey will be administered through Survey Monkey, and for those unable to participate online, we can provide paper copies upon request.

There will be no girls after school STEM with Mrs. DiCenso, Wednesday, Feb. 14th. Have a great Valentine's Day!
**IMPORTANT UPDATE** There has been some confusion, we do have a full day of school Friday Feb. 16th.. We do not have school on Monday Feb. 19.

Tomorrow, Feb. 9th, is popcorn Friday. Popcorn is 50 cents a bag (no M&Ms this time).

**HOMECOMING** Saturday is our Homecoming Festivities, The Varsity Girls play at 12pm. The JV Boys play at 1:30, followed by the Varsity Boys game at 3pm. The King/Queen ceremony will be held during halftime of the Varsity Boys game. Followed by the Homecoming dance from 8-10pm.
*ATTENTION GIRLS IN STEM** Any girls that were in STEM, there will be a meeting tomorrow with Mrs. DiCenso from 3:00-4:00pm.

Seniors and parents, schedule a time with Jenn to complete FAFSA! A raffle will take place at the end of the month for students who completed it! Prizes include a mini fridge!
